Published artist Gebbar was born in Mexico & came to the US with his family as a wee grommet. Despite trying to go down more traditional school routes, he could not deny his calling to art, and is currently studying animation & illustration. His likes include, but not limited to, collecting all forms of art, strumming his guitar, and hitting the joysticks. He is one of the KM Artist Initiative’s “First 4”.

A lifelong artist who got his start drawing Dragonball Z fanart, he’s truly passionate about design & is developing his own style that blends surrealism & expressionism. As a guitarist his goal is to make music & the art that goes with it. “I've got ideas about reimagining genres that I want to bring to life like bringing microtonality to the mainstream, that's what drives me to stay on this creative path.” Likes: metal & dystopian surrealism. Forever creative & creating, Matt is a child of the 80s & the Midwest. Loyal to his family, his teams, and his cat, Rocko, he’s been doodling & drawing since he could pick up a pencil, and designing professionally for 20 years. Likes: Anything 80’s kid culture—Saturday morning cartoons, Star Wars, Masters of the Universe, Garbage Pail Kids, WWF, and video games. Godzilla, Fu Manchu. Art, food, tech. “I’ve cheated death once. It changed my life, and told me I still have things to do here. I’d better get my rear in gear.”

Inspired to become an artist when his grandmother sketched for him as a young child, something he considers his greatest gift. Educated at the Art Institute in Dallas & an introvert at heart, he is passionate about art & finds solace in drawing. Likes: Conventions, concerts, cartoons, movies, music, family & his Faith. Comic books, science fiction & fantasy trade paperbacks, & reading about ancient cultures & their languages. “When I draw and paint anything that I can see or imagine, it feels like magic.”

At a young age, Johnny, who was born in Southern Peru and later came to the states, discovered his passion for creation through frequent trips to New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Once he had a taste, he knew he’d found his cake.

Likes; Reading, painting, walks with the dog, Thai food and a varied taste in music from classical to alternative to Motown. “I was always interested in art, ever since I was a child.”
